OneTimeBox is a new website to offer you public data storage facility without registration which anybody can access via uniquely generated urls. Unlike other data storage service providers i.e. Google Drive, Drop Box, Sky Drive etc. OneTimeBox offer anybody to create a storage box, upload files, share and delete files publicly without any registration. It is a self-disposable storage box where anybody can access file as long as they know the unique url of your OneTimeBox.

OneTimeBox is created at HackMIT, powered by Meteor.js, and built by Oliver and its source code can be found on Github repository which you can either download or fork to your Github account.

How www.OneTimeBox.org works?

To start uploading your first file just access http://www.onetimebox.org/ from your browser and click on ‘create your box’ button, once you click on ‘create your box’ button, OneTimeBox will create a onetime remember box for uploading/sharing/delete of files, you will be redirected to a random generated url (direct address of storage box created) where you can upload files by dragging and dropping on uploading area, also you can see previously uploaded files, can download files and delete also. Ontimebox is taking the help of powerful APIs of Filepicker.io for uploading all kinds of files and storing them on Amazon S3 cloud storage.

Anyone who have address of a particular box created by anyone can access the box, can retrieve box’s files and can delete it also.

The best use of OnetTimeBox can be, to quickly send and receive restricted files (copyright protected, banned etc.) anonymously.
