Pure – A fresh UI kickstart solution from Yahoo
Today when CSS3 and HTML5 getting strong as day progress, we have seen many css3 and html5 UI framework that are mainly developed to give you a kickstart solution for your upcoming web project.
Some of the recent UI framework what I have covered on w3update in recent past are 99lime.com (Awesome UI framework), Phonegap (that are specially developed for mobile UI), workless (a clean html5 and css3 framework), fries (a mobile UI framework based on Google Android), Twitter bootstrap and many more.
These Kickstart UI frameworks have one aim and that is to save your plenty of time and effort while start working on a fresh new web project.
Pure is also a UI (user interface) framework this time introduced by search engine giant Yahoo!. It is so good to see new and quality frameworks are being introduced regularly by the web design/development community.
Pure is a fresh UI framework one that is created by Yahoo! It uses Normalize.CSS and doesn’t use any JavaScript but only HTML-CSS.
It is built with responsive layouts (that can be resized on different devices i.e. mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop) in mind and has styles for typography, grids, forms, buttons, tables and navigation.
Pure markup use is very simple and it is pretty lightweight too and has total size 5.7kb in minified version. Also, it is modular and styles for each module can be used separately.
